A Memorandum of Understating has been signed between Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) of the Maldives and Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). The aim of this MOU includes exchange of information on community education to enhance public awareness on anti-corruption, exchange of experiences in detecting corruption and providing technical assistance to strengthen the anti-corruption activities. This MOU was signed on 3rd September 2015.
Deputy Chief Commissioner Hon Datuk Musthafar Ali of MACC and Commission member Sofwath Mohamed of ACC signed the MOU. Moreover, Minister at the Office of The Prime Minister of Malaysia Mr. YB Senator Datuk Paul Low Seng Kuan, High Commissioner of Maldives to Malaysia Mr. Mohamed Fahmy Hassan were present at the signing ceremony. Commission member Ms. Aminath Minna and Secretary General Mr. Abdulla Rasheed of ACC also attended the ceremony.
