The Anti-Corruption Commission and Election Commission have met on extending the role of ACC to mark the activities for ‘Democracy Week’. The main objective of this discussion initiated by the Elections Commission is to spread public awareness on democracy and strengthening good governance.
At this bipartisan level meeting, the Commission members discussed about the enlightening activities that could foster and rejuvenate citizens’ integrity and anti-corruption awareness in the society. The ‘Democracy Week’ is planned to be held at HA. Hoarafushi from 04 – 10th October, 2015.
