ACC has participated in the workshop organized by Civil Service Commission. The objective of the workshop is to discuss recommendations and identify practical solutions to the findings subjected to the Civil Service Conference 2014 thematic areas which were presented by Civil Service Commission, Anti-Corruption Commission, Auditor General’s Office and Ministry of Finance and Treasury. This workshop is conducted through 11-12 October 2015 and is targeted to the operational staff of budget and finance areas of civil services.
The ACC delivered its session on the 11th October morning, based on the ‘Findings of Corruption Perception of Civil Services Survey 2014”. Information was given on perception or understanding of corruption by civil servants, ethics and integrity, institutional governance, reporting corruption and understanding of jurisdiction of ACC. The findings from the survey results were further discussed with linkage to the National Integrity Plan that the Commission is currently working on introducing to the public sector. During the workshop, group discussions were held where participants’ feedbacks and suggestions were collected on the papers presented.
