The Commission members calls on the Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives

Members of the Anti-Corruption Commission made a courtesy call to the Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives H.E. Mr. Wang Fukang at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China on 21st October 2015.

The Commission members emphasized on the close bilateral relations between both the countries Maldives and China, and discussed ways to collaborate in corruption prevention and investigations and enhance assistance from the Chinese government.

The Ambassador Wang Fukang noted on the important statutory role of the ACC in combatting corruption in the Maldives and assured extending cooperation of the Chinese government in various areas of growth and development of the Commission. He also shared their current efforts to eradicate corruption in China.

The Vice President of ACC Uz. Muaviz Rasheed was accompanied by, Commission members Mr. Yazmeed Mohamed, Mr Sofwath Mohamed and Secretary General Mr. Abdulla Rasheed.
