Anti-Corruption Commission’s quarterly Bulletin is released

Anti-Corruption Commission of the Maldives releases its first quarterly bulletin, “Bithufangi”. The first volume of this bulletin was released by Prosecutor General Uz. Aishath Bisham, on 9th December 2015 in the ceremony held to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day. This bulletin will be issued in every three months. The main aim of this bulletin is to disclose, release and share information regarding important works of the commission with public, increase public awareness regarding integrity and anti-corruption, increase and strengthen literature regarding integrity and anti-corruption in local language. The bulletin contains a case brief of one of the significant cases concluded by the commission during the quarter. Likewise, in its first volume, a summary of the case of “corruption in Dhoonidhoo custodial” was included with important facts, issues and causes identified and recommendations provided by the commission regarding the case. Furthermore, the bulletin includes Commissions’ statistics, important news and activities and a true story regarding corruption and an additional English Page.
