Total 339 recommendations have been given to public institutions in the first half of 2015

Anti-Corruption Commission has given 339 recommendations to the public institutions in the first six months of 2015. The Commission provides recommendations to public institutions in two instances. Firstly, recommendations are provided when public institutions ask for Commission’s approval or recommendation on certain matters. Secondly, the Commission provides recommendations and instructions regarding findings of the cases being investigated.
In the first six months of 2015, Commission has provided 224 recommendations to 129 public institutions regarding requests for approval/recommendation. Meanwhile, in 2014, 388 recommendations were provided for 145 public institutions regarding requests for approval/recommendation.
Furthermore, concerning the cases lodged to the Commission, 115 recommendations were given to 116 institutions in the first six months of 2015 whereas 56 recommendations were given to 56 institutions in the first six months of 2014.
