A MOU has been signed between Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Information Commissioner’s (ICOM) Office in order to enforce the responsibilities outlined by the law to work together and strengthen the relationship between the two agencies.
The purpose of the MOU was to engage mutual understanding between the two agencies to exchange and share information, maintain support between the institutions through its professionalism and law enforcement need, conduct related training programs and provide assistance in implementing the Nation Integrity Plan.
This signing ceremony was held at Information Commissioner’s Office on 14th March 2016. The Information Commissioner, Hon. Mr. Abdul Azeez Jamaal Aboobakru signed the contract on behalf of ICOM Office while the Chairperson Mr. Hassan Luthfee signed the MOU on behalf of the ACC.
