An executive level delegation from the ACC is on a study visit to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) of Singapore through 21st – 25th March 2016. The purpose of this visit is to reinforce collaboration at regional level, exchange support and assistance on the areas of corruption investigation, legal, prevention, and training. The visit is also expected to facilitate deliberations of experiences, extend and strengthen ties between both the agencies.
Furthermore, the delegation would also meet the Singapore’s Attorney General to discuss on measures of combating corruption and identify possibilities for professional guidance. Notably, deliberations would also be conveyed regarding information required from Singapore authorities for cases under investigation.
The delegation includes Mr. Muaviz Rasheed – Vice Chairperson, Mr. Yazmeed Mohamed – Member and Mr. Abdullah Rasheed – Secretary General from the Commission.
