Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched the Information Window Program at a ceremony held last night. The program was launched by the President of Maldives Broadcasting Commission Mr. Mohamed Shaheeb.
The program is open for journalists, University and College students interested in topics related to increasing public awareness on corruption or researching corruption related topics. ACC will assist those participating in the program by providing the relevant information regarding the efforts to combat corruption.
The main aim of the program is to encourage media to report on corruption which will increase accountability of public officials. The program will also enable students to research on corruption by providing statistics in an easy manner. The form required to participate in the program will be available in ACC’s reception and website.
