ACC Participated in Global Conference on Anti-Corruption Reform in Small Island States

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has participated in Global Conference on Anti-Corruption Reform in Small Island States organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The Conference was held in Mauritius from 02nd to 04th August 2016 and ACC was represented in the Conference by the Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Hassan Luthfee.

The Conference was conducted to discuss challenges faced by member states in preventing corruption, facilitate the exchange of expertise and best practices on anti-corruption strategies in certain areas such as procurement, and discuss ways to strengthen the capacity of anti-corruption authorities to reduce corruption in small island states.
