The concept draft of the National Integrity Seal (NIS) has been opened for public comments and suggestions on 7th August 2016. NIS is created under the National Integrity Plan (NIP) which is initiated by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) with the help of public offices, companies and NGOs.
The main aim of the National Integrity Seal is to introduce a mechanism to foster and optimize a culture of integrity, transparency, accountability and disclosure among public institutions and to reduce the corruption risk by setting a minimum standard requirement.
Those who are interested can comment on the draft before office hours of 17th August 2016, by completing a commenting form and sending it to ACC through email (nip@acc.gov.mv) , fax or by visiting the Commission.
