Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has commenced a training program in Addu City as part of the awareness program to prevent and prohibit corruption and foster Integrity in Maldives. The training programs consisting of 3 workshops are conducted for the public officials from state institutions in Addu City. 24 staff participated in the first workshop which was held in Hulhudhoo Meedhoo on 23rd September 2016 and 51 staff joined the second workshop held in Hithadhoo on 24th September 2016. The third workshop will be held in Maradhoo Feydhoo.
Information on integrity and anti-corruption were given to the participants during the workshop. The workshop also covered information about the Anti-Corruption Commission’s Act, corruption prevention methods. Furthermore, procurement regulations and bid evaluation methods will also be discussed.
