The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has participated in the training program on “Criminal Justice Response to corruption” organized by Japan international Coorporation Agency (JICA). The training program was held in Tokyo, Japan, from 9 October to 17 November 2016. Investigation Officer, Ms. Lujaina Mohamed attended the training on behalf of ACC.
The training focused on investigation and prosecution of corruption in public procurement. The program offered participants an opportunity to share information and experiences and to deepen mutual understanding of the situations faced by the participating countries regarding criminal justice response to corruption. The training opportunity is a kind effort of JICA under their initiative to promote Human Resource Development in Maldives.
