Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) on 23rd October 2016. Purpose of this MoU is identifying areas in which both institutes can assist each other and stipulating procedures how that assistance can be provided. This MoU will pave the way for effective investigation by providing legal assistance from PGO and has stipulated assistance can be provided by each party during the trial of corruption cases.
The MoU was signed on 23rd October 2016 at 10pm in a ceremony held at ACC. Prosecutor General, Uz.Aishath Bisham signed on behalf of PGO and President of Anti-Corruption Commission, Hassan Luthfy signed on behalf of ACC.
