The statistics of the Commission indicates that a total of 573 cases were concluded in the first nine months of 2016. Out of these, 168 cases were concluded during the third quarter. This includes 57 cases which were concluded in the investigation stage and 111 cases which were concluded in the evaluation stage.
Based on the cases concluded, two cases were decided to send to the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) in the third quarter of 2016 while five cases were concluded to send to the PGO in the year 2015 respectively.
From the cases registered at the Commission, some cases are dismissed due to insufficient evidence and information. Likewise, 166 cases were dismissed in the third quarter of 2016 while 163 cases were dismissed during the same period of 2015.
