The Anti-Corruption Commission has participated in the 7th session of the “United Nations Convention Against Corruption”. This session was held from 14th to 16th November 2016 in Vienna, Austria. The Vice-Chairman, Mr. Muaviz Rasheed and Commission Member Mr. Sofwath Mohamed attended this session on behalf of Anti-Corruption Commission.
The main aim of this session was to create a platform to discuss about the challenges faced in fighting against corruption and to develop effective strategies to overcome the issues faced. Moreover, participants of the session discussed about the enforcement of the convention with regard to its progress.
