A special supplement has been published today by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to mark International Anti-Corruption Day. The supplement contains an address by the President His Excellency Yameen Abdul Gayoom and ACC’s Chairman Hassan Luthfee. Statistics and activities conducted by ACC was included in the supplement.
In addition to the special supplement, different activities are being conducted to mark the International Anti –Corruption Day. The activities include Friday sermon delivered on the topic related to religious views on combating corruption and bribery, an anti-corruption debate conducted with assistance from Public Service Media and Dhivehi Bahuge Academy. Information will also be disseminated through local TV programs. A photo contest is also being conducted to mark the occasion.
9th December is celebrated annually as International Anti-Corruption Day.
