Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) held a discussion meeting with Local Government Authority on 9th February 2017. The meeting held at the Commission was aimed at discussing ways on how to implement the National Integrity Plan (NIP) in the institutions established in atolls. Some of the senior staff of LGA and technical staff of ACC participated in the meeting.
Important information regarding the various activities under NIP, that are planned to be held in 2017 were shared with LGA. Moreover, ways to monitor and implement these activities at atolls and island councils were highlighted. Discussions were also made to disseminate NIP information to the councilors after the upcoming local council elections
