Staff of Maritime Academy of Maldives has signed the National Integrity Pledge at a function held in Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on 7th February 2017. A total of 8 staff signed the pledge during the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony Maritime Academy of Maldives’ CEO Captain Adhil Rasheed said that, as an academic institute, the Academy believes that every certificate issued should be authentic. He also said that in order for the certificates to be issued in a proper manner, the staff must work ethically and that the pledge serves as a reminder to work with integrity.
Speaking on behalf of ACC, the President of the ACC Mr. Hassan Luthfee highlighted that the Academy is the first private educational institution to sign the National Integrity Pledge. He congratulated the Academy on this occasion and expressed his wish that the Academy will continue to work with Integrity.
