First anti-corruption advocacy workshop has been conducted

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has conducted the first workshop of the newly introduced Anti-Corruption Advocacy Program on 28th February 2017. The workshop was specialized for media and it was conducted for journalists, newscasters and program producers from Public Service Media (PSM).
Information on integrity, types of corruption and prevention of corruption was delivered during the workshop. The role of media in the prevention of corruption was also discussed in the workshop.
Twelve staff from PSM participated in the workshop, which was held for 3 hours in ACC’s Conference Room. A ceremony was held to mark the conclusion of the workshop. Certificates were distributed to ACC’s President Mr. Hassan Luthfee during the ceremony.
The Anti-Corruption Advocacy program will be conducted as a series of workshops for different stakeholders. In addition to the media, the program is planned to be conducted for NGOs, University students and other focus groups at least once every month.
