ACC releases first issue of “White Paper” series

The newly introduced white paper series that focused on selected thematic areas of corruption is a recently added segment to the prevention and research activities of the Commission. This white paper series aims to raise consciousness among the public on matters regarding corruption. It is meant to concisely guide readers understand an issue, solve a problem or make a decision. It was published on 20th April 2017. The paper was officially launched by the Auditor General of Maldives, Mr. Hassan Ziyath at the ceremony held at the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to celebrate the National Anti-Corruption Day.
The research paper, titled “Corruption during the elections –Raising campaign finance against laws and rules” is the first paper of the series which will be published periodically. This paper is now available on the Commission’s website.
