Anti-Corruption commission conducts a religious lecture to create awareness about religious activities among its employees.
The main purpose of this religious lecture is to increase awareness about religious matters relating to the Holy month of Ramadan.
This lecture was delivered by Dr, Ibrahim Zakariyya Moosa, Dean of Post Graduate Studies of the Islamic University of Maldives. The lecture was given under the topic “Getting ready for Ramadan”. In the lecture the Speaker highlighted the importance of being patient while fasting and increase good deeds during the month of Ramdan is two very important traits we need to establish in our selves. In addition to this, he highlighted four traits mentioned in Surah Al Asr in the Holy Quran, which are believing, doing righteous deeds, exhort one another to Truth, and exhort one another to patience and if one wants to succeed in this Dunya to pay attention to these four deeds.
After this religious lecture the traditional treat Maldivians have before the start of Ramadan which is called “Maahefun” was held in the commission. Commission members and all staff participated in this treat.
