During the first quarter of 2017, the Commission has trained 649 participants in the awareness sessions conducted to educate public officials and school students.
A total of 12 sessions were conducted for institutions in Male’ where 67 staff were trained. These sessions were aimed to educate public officials about impacts of corruption, occupational integrity and to provide necessary information on public procurement procedures and regulations.
Moreover, 11 sessions were conducted and 582 students were trained in the sessions conducted to aware and promote integrity among the school students. These sessions included an overview of integrity, functions of Anti-Corruption Commission and the role of students to prevent and eliminate corruption.
