ACC Participated in ICAC International Seminar on Financial Investigation and Training Attachment

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has participated in the International Seminar on Financial Investigation and Training Attachment organized by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). The seminar was held in Hong Kong from 09th to 12th May 2017 and ACC was represented by the Vice Chairman of the Commission, Mr. Muaviz Rasheed.

The seminar was focused on financial investigation and asset recovery areas themed at “Cutting the Financial Vein of the Corrupt”. The main objective of this seminar was to share the expertise and experience of those working in the field of financial investigation and to discuss ways to tackle the challenges faced in conducting and carrying out such investigations.

In addition to the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Attorney General’s Office also represented Maldives in the seminar.
