ACC participates in the “Regional Workshop on Corruption Risk Management in Procurement”

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is currently participating in the “Regional Workshop on Corruption Risk Management in Procurement: Experiences and Way Forward”, jointly organized by United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangkok Regional Hub. ACC is represented by Procurement officer Mr. Ibrahim Rafeeu. This training program is on-going in Bangkok from 12th – 14th July 2017.

The workshop gathers senior level practitioners from public procurement bodies, anti-corruption authorities and national audit offices to gain insight into existing corruption risk assessment methodologies, share country experiences and discuss practical ways to strengthen integrity of procurement systems in South and South East Asia.

In addition to the Anti-Corruption Commission, participants from Auditor General’s Office and Ministry of Finance and Treasury are also participating in the training.
