Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)’s statistical data for the first six months of 2017 discloses that the highest number of cases concluded is on providing undue advantage for a third party.
A total of 140 such cases were concluded during the second quarter of 2017. Similarly, 93 cases of providing undue advantage were concluded in the same period of 2016.
The second highest category of the cases concluded is related to acts in contradiction to the laws and state orders. Likewise, 47 cases were in the second quarter.
Moreover, 43 cases on personal gain or undue advantage to oneself were concluded during the second quarter of 2017. Similarly, 17 cases on actions that preclude an advantage to the public or state, 3 cases on negligence and 2 case on bribery were concluded during the second quarter of 2017.
