The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Islamic University of the Maldives (IUM) on 08th May 2017 at a ceremony held at the University.
The MoU was signed to establish relations between ACC and IUM to work together and provide assistance in executing their mandates and legal responsibilities. The first initiative to be undertaken under this MOU is to organize the National Anti-Corruption Conference, as a joint effort by both the signees. The Conference is to take place from 10th to 11th May at the IUM and preparations for the event have already begun.
On behalf of the Islamic University of the Maldives and Anti-Corruption Commission the said MoU was signed by the Chancellor, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, and ACC’s Chairman, Mr. Hassan Luthfee, respectively.
