Anti- corruption commission wins the ‘Ranvana 2017 ‘awarded by the Information Commissioners Office. This was awarded to ACC in the ceremony held at the Information Commissioners Office on Thursday night 28th September 2017, to mark the International Right to Information day. In the event, the president of ACC Mr. Hassan Luthfy received the award on behalf of the ACC.
‘Ranvana 2017’ is awarded in order to motivate government organizations to voluntarily disclose as much information as possible, encourage to maintain information in a way that is easily accessible, the extent of information disclosed on websites, availability of up- to date information on the institutions notice board and maintenance of meeting minutes of that organization.
Whilst, ACC won the ‘Ranvana Award 2016” this year, the award was given based on two categories. ACC won their award under the category of independent institutions.
