The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) commenced the pilot survey activities of the social audit program in Fuvahmulah City. A community survey, which was the first activity of the pilot survey was conducted on 14th November 2017.
The pilot survey was focused on the project of Eco-Facility Development in Fuvahmulah City. The purpose of the community survey was to find out the extent of community participation in the planning of this project as well as the community awareness on ensuring accountability and transparency of the project.
The community survey was administered by groups of social audit trainees from NGOs of Fuvahmulah and ACC officials.
