The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has held a ceremony to conclude the activities of the Social Audit Program. The ceremony was held at Kurundhuma Malam of the secretriat of Fuvahmulah City Council.
The Social Audit program was aimed at creating awareness on the concept of social accountability and related concepts as well as social accountability tools, mainly focusing on facilitating how to conduct a social audit on developmental projects, to ensure transparency and accountability.
The chairman of ACC, Mr. Hassan Luthfee and the Mayor of Fuvahmulah City Mr. Abdullah Falah Shareef addressed the attendees at the ceremony. Also, certificates were awarded to the trainees of the Social Audit Program and the public officials who participated in the awareness program. The Commission awarded a plaque to Fuvahmulah City Council in appreciation of their assistance for the program.
