The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is participating in the “Regional Expert Group Meeting for the Development of the Regional Programme for South Asia” organized by United National Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). The ongoing meeting is held in New Delhi on 18 and 19 December 2017.
The meeting aims to increase corporation among six governments of south Asia through technical cooperation projects to address threats caused by drugs, crime, terrorism, and corruption. Furthermore, the meeting also facilitates discussion on the delivery of assistance and consultation among South Asian governments and their counterparts in the region.
Along with ACC, Maldives is represented by 6 other state entities including Prosecutor General’s Office and Attorney General’s Office.
