‘Children’s Evening Held to Mark International Anti-Corruption Day

One of the activities held to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day (9th December) was a ‘Children’s Evening’ at Male’. The main objective of the event was to create integrity-awareness amongst young children through games and play.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) offered a variety of games such as Snake and Ladder, Tic-Tac-Toe, jigsaw puzzles, wheel of questions, coloring, and face painting.

In addition to the ACC, Civil Service Commission, Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, National Integrity Commission, Maldives Monetary Authority, Prosecutor General’s Office, Public Service Media, Audit Office, and Dhivehi Bahuge Academy participated in the event. An array of games and activities for the children were offered from the stalls, while providing information on integrity and the mandate of the respective institution.

ACC organised this forum in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Public Service Media, as part of ‘Hukuru Ufaa’ program hosted for children on Friday evenings.
