Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has concluded a total of 288 cases in the first quarter of 2018.
During the same period in 2017, a total of 299 cases were concluded respectively.
From the total cases concluded, 3 case were concluded to send to the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) in the first quarter of 2018, also this number stood at 3 in the first quarter of 2017 too.
Based on the cases registered at the commission, some cases are concluded as no corruption element involved due to insufficient evidence and information. Likewise, during the first quarter of 2018, a total of 285 cases were concluded as such whereas, in 2017 this number stood at 296 respectively.
Furthermore, during the first quarter of 2018, 211 recommendations were provided to 93 government institutions, while in the same period of 2017, the number of recommendations provided to government institutions stood at 138.
