An integrity-awareness programme aimed for teachers, in order to enhance student integrity, has been conducted at G.A. Atoll Education Centre. The programme was conducted on 5th May, 2018, at the school. The programme highlighted the characteristics of integrity, the wrongs of corruption, integrity in teaching, and the role of teachers and the school in enhancing student integrity.
A total of 39 teachers participated in the session, which was conducted by professional staff of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
This activity was conducted on the initiative from G.A. Atoll Council and G.A. Villingili Council as per the opportunity ACC opened up for the city/island councils, schools, and other government institutions to conduct various activities in collaboration with ACC, to promote integrity and anti-corruption awareness.
