The Commission’s statistical data for the first quarter of 2018 discloses that the highest number of cases registered is procurement related.
There was a total of 147 procurement related cases registered at the Commission during this period while this amount stood at 98 during 2017.
Additionally, a total of 40 employment related cases were registered in the first quarter of 2018 while it was 44 cases during the fourth quarter of 2017.
Moreover, 37 cases were registered regarding land related and island/land leasing issues in the first quarter of 2018. In terms of ‘other’ category, 48 unclassified cases were registered during the same period of 2018.
