Integrity-related Information Shared at Hiriya School Assembly

Information regarding the characteristics of integrity has been shared by the Anti-Corruption Commission at an assembly in Hiriya School. Around 250 students of grades 3 and 4, teachers, school management, as well as other staff of the school participated in the assembly held for the afternoon session.

The activity was conducted in the evening of Sunday, 22nd April, in Hiriya School hall.

The aim of the activity was to increase integrity-awareness; and students were given information regarding what integrity is, the importance of integrity for every individual, and academic integrity and its importance. In addition, how integrity can be applied in everyday life was presented through examples suitable for the students’ age-group.

This is one of the activities carried out by ACC in collaboration with the schools to promote integrity and anti-corruption awareness. The students were addressed by the member of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Ms. Aminath Minna, at the assembly.
