The title of the ‘Best Information Officer’ has been awarded to the Information officer of ACC,
Mr. Hassan Manik.
This title was awarded to ACC’s Information officer, in the reception held by the
Information Commissioners Office on Wednesday night of 17th October 2018, to commemorate the International Right to Information day. The award was handed over to Mr. Hassan Manik by Information Commissioner Mr. Abdul Azeez Jamaal Aboobakuru.
This title is awarded to select the best information officer in disclosing information in accordance with the Right to Information Act.
While this was the first time an award as such has been presented, a total of 6 participants applied for this award.
