Anti- corruption commission wins the ‘Ranvana 2018 ‘awarded by the Information Commissioners Office. This was awarded to ACC at the ceremony held at the Information Commissioners Office on Wednesday night 17th October 2018, to mark the International Right to Information day. At the event, the president of ACC Mr. Hassan Luthfy received the award on behalf of the ACC.
‘Ranvana 2018’ is awarded in order to motivate government organizations to voluntarily disclose as much information as possible, encourage to maintain information in a way that is easily accessible, the extent of information disclosed on websites, availability of up- to date information on the institutions notice board and maintenance of meeting minutes of that organization.
Whilst, the ACC won the ‘Ranvana Award 2016” and ‘Ranvana Award 2017’ as well, the award was given based on two categories. The ACC won their award under the category of independent institutions.
