The Commission’s statistical data for the third quarter of 2018 discloses that the highest number of cases registered is procurement related.
There was a total of 40 procurement related cases registered at the Commission during this period while this amount stood at 53 during last year.
Additionally, a total of 12 employment related cases were registered in the third quarter of 2018 while it was 10 cases during the third quarter of 2017.
Moreover, 16 cases were registered related to utilizing public assets and finances which is the 2nd highest number recorded during the third quarter of 2018. Similarly, 12 cases of salary and incentives, 11 cases referring to elections and campaigns, 09 cases regarding land related and island/land leasing issues were registered while in terms of ‘other’ category, 32 unclassified cases were also being registered during the same period of 2018.
