Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) participated the nationwide cleanup programme held Saturday, 08 December 2018.
This nationwide clean-up initiative named “Saafu Raajje, Aharenge ves zimma”, loosely translating to “(A)Clean Maldives, My Responsibility Too”, is aimed at encouraging all citizens to view the management and cleaning of our environment as a personal responsibility and targeted at raising awareness against littering.
The programme was launched by His Excellency Ibrahim Mohamed Solih – the president of the Maldives. Representatives hailing from several government administrations and private companies actively participated, and 38 staff from ACC participated this cleanup programme.
