Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)’s statistical data for the first six months of 2019 discloses that the highest number of cases concluded is on providing undue advantage for a third party.
A total of 85 such cases were concluded during the second quarter of 2019. Similarly, 332 cases of providing undue advantage were concluded in the same period of 2018.
The second highest category of the cases concluded is on acting in contradiction to the laws and state orders. Likewise, 61 cases were concluded in the second quarter of 2019.
Moreover, 24 cases related to personal gain or undue advantage to oneself were concluded during the second quarter of 2019. Similarly, 18 cases on bribery, 07 cases on actions that preclude an advantage to the public or state and 03 cases on bribery were concluded during the second quarter of 2019.
