Anti-corruption Commission’s statistical data revealed that during the first two quarters of 2019, the commission has informed relevant government institutions to recover more than 188 million Rufiyaa to the state.
During the first six months of 2019, total amount to be recovered by the state stood at 188,821,815.04 (One hundred and eighty-eight million eight hundred and twenty-one thousand eight hundred and fifteen Rufiyaa four Laari). Amongst, 149,727,621.93 (One hundred and forty-nine million seven hundred and twenty-seven thousand six hundred and twenty-one Rufiyaa ninety-three Laari) is the amount claimed to be recovered by the state during the second quarter of 2019.
This monetary value is the financial loss comprised in 11 cases investigated and concluded by the commission. Moreover, 7,727.77 (Seven thousand seven hundred and twenty-seven Rufiyaa seventy-seven Laari) was recovered herein the amount to be recovered by the state, during the first two quarters of 2019.
