The Anti-Corruption Commission has released its research conducted to analyze the implementation process of the recommendations given to the governement ministries in the year 2017; namely the Recommendation Research. Ms. Aminath Minna, The Vice Chair of the Commission officially released the report on the 5th of September on a special ceremony to brief media.
The report highlights the areas of recommendation given to the ministries and the level to which the recommendations has been followed. The report also has a focus on the follow-up process of the Commission on the task, and the challenges it faced in implementing through. The report concludes recommendations, both to strengthen the Commission’s procedure on the task and how the institutions can cohesively work together with the Commission on following these recommendations through in order to minimize the possibilities of corruption in the given ministries.
