Anti-corruption Commission’s statistical data revealed that during the first three quarters of 2019, the commission has informed relevant government institutions to recover more than 190 million Rufiyaa to the state.
During the first nine months of 2019, total amount to be recovered by the state stood at 190,674,529.01 (One-ninety million six-hundred and seventy-four thousand five-hundred and twenty-nine rufiyaa one laari). Amongst, 1,852,713.97 (One million eight-hundred and fifty-two thousand seven hundred and thirteen rufiyaa ninety-seven laari) is the amount claimed to be recovered by the state during the third quarter of 2019. This monetary value is the financial loss comprised in 05 case investigated and concluded by the commission during the third quarter of 2019.
Likewise, the above mentioned 190 million is the financial loss comprised in 16 cases investigated and concluded by the commission during the first nine months of 2019. Moreover, during the third quarter of 2019, total MVR 78,763.33 (Seventy-eight thousand seven-hundred and sixty-three rufiyaa thirty-three laari) was recovered herein the amount to be recovered by the state.
