This was awarded to ACC in the ceremony held at the Information Commissioners Office on Thursday night 28<sup>th<\/sup> September 2017, to mark the International Right to Information day. In the event, the president of ACC Mr. Hassan Luthfy received the award on behalf of the ACC.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Ranvana 2017\u2019 is awarded in order to motivate government organizations to voluntarily disclose as much information as possible, encourage to maintain information in a way that is easily accessible, the extent of information disclosed on websites, availability of up- to date information on the institutions notice board and maintenance of meeting minutes of that organization.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst, ACC won the \u2018Ranvana Award 2016\u201d this year, the award was given based on two categories.
