After completion of his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at Al-Azhar University, he joined the Auditor General\u2019s Office in 2007 as an Audit Assistant. In 2008 he was promoted to the post of Director of Audits and served there for four years.\n\nSofwath joined Anti-Corruption Commission in 2011 as an Investigation Officer. He served in this post for over three years and during this period he actively took part in conducting various investigations, and field trips to several islands regarding the cases that were inspected.\n\nDuring his eight years of career in the auditing and investigation field, he has inspected work at various Government Offices and state-shareholding companies and had gained valuable experience and proficiency.
