The Anti-Corruption Commission of the Maldives hosted official ceremony of the National Anti-Corruption day on 21st April 2019. Information Commissioner, Mr. Abdul Azeez Jamaal Aboobakur was the chief guest of the ceremony.<\/p>\n
During the ceremony, stories received for the integrity related story book writing competition was released. Also, ACC\u2019s Statistic book for 2018, ACC\u2019s quarterly bulleting \u2018Bithufangi\u2019, and the \u2018Abaanna \u2013 Report\u2019 book were released during the ceremony. Furthermore, an appreciative token was given for the dedication of ACC\u2019s staff who delivered their service for consecutive 10 years.<\/p>\n
Apart from the Chief guest, President of the Civil Service Commission Dr. Ali Shameem, Member of Election Commission Ismail Habeeb Abdul Raheem, Assistant Auditor General Aiman Mohamed, President of Employment Tribunal Ahmed Shifau, President of Maldives Media Council Hidhayathu\u2019llah, Commission members, Secretary General and staff were present at the ceremony. <\/p>\n
National Anti-Corruption Day is marked annually on 21st April, the day Anti-Corruption came into existence in the Maldives.
